John Bartz - Chief Information Officer

John Bartz was named executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) for Sage Software in July 2005, after serving as an interim leader for the company's Information Systems (IS) organization. He is responsible for driving Sage Software's internal information technology strategy and resources throughout North America.

Previously, Mr. Bartz worked as an independent consultant in executive-level information technology (IT) leadership capacities for various clients. He has also held executive IS positions with Spherion Corporation and Siemens Energy and Automation, Inc. (both located in Alpharetta, Georgia.), OneSource Management, Inc. (Atlanta), and Westinghouse Electric Corp. (Pittsburgh).

Mr. Bartz holds bachelor of science degrees in Business Administration and Engineering from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
