In the May edition of the AbraTalk Online Newsletter, we asked you to
tell us about your experiences in HR and payroll through an online survey.
As a group, Sage Abra customers are highly trained, highly experienced professionals. 69% of you who responded have
been in HR or payroll for over 11 years. You mostly enjoy the aspect of working with and helping people in their
jobs—90% report these factors to be the most rewarding aspects of your positions.
As HR professionals you reported that benefits administration was your highest priority, followed closely by training
and recruiting. 44% cited compliance issues as the most frustrating aspect of your jobs, with recruiting as the
second biggest frustration.
The survey also revealed the tasks that HR professionals spend most of their time performing, as
well as those they wish they could dedicate more time to accomplish.

focused on the issues surrounding the top challenge you reported in the survey—benefits. The survey series also
continues this quarter with a closer look at benefits administration.
